The MEDISTER 160 HF-Waste Disinfection Device works with 60 litre MEDITAINER waste containers. It is used for the disinfection of infectious or potentially infectious wastes and liquids. This includes microbiological waste, laboratory waste, dialysis systems, waste from the wards, etc.

The puncture-proof and reusable MEDITAINER containers are used for the collection, transportation and disinfection of wastes. The unique front loading system allows for ergonomic and safe loading and unloading of MEDITAINER waste containers. The devices are operated using an integrated touch panel. Every disinfection cycle runs fully automatic. Moreover the cycle data is electronically stored and can be read-out easily using the USB-interface or an Ethernet connection. At the end of each cycle a cycle documentation is being printed. A label for marking the waste bag can be generated.
Moreover the MEDISTER 160 HF-Waste Disinfection Device can be equipped with a built-in weight scale. Using a special analysing software the cycle data can be displayed, evaluated, and printed on the PC. MEDISTER 160 devices can be delivered in 50 Hz or 60 Hz version
