Description
The MEDISTER 360-2 device with its 60 litre MEDITAINER waste container is used for sterilisation of highly infectious materials as well as for the waste from genetic engineering research (L3/L4 laboratories).
By using HF-thermal sterilisation technology infectious waste/infectious liquids are disinfected/sterilised in a totally closed container system. For the waste treatment there are one disinfection program (110°C), two sterilisation programs (121°C, 134°C), and optional once customer specific program available. 

Technical Details
Collection and transportation of waste takes place in microwave-proof and heat resistant 60 Liter MEDITAINER waste containers. The unique front-loading system allows for ergonomic and safe loading at the unclean side and unloading at the clean side.
The waste sterilisation device is running with normal tap-water which vaporizes when heated up with HF-energy. The MEDISTER 360-2 device needs no additional devices for steam generation or water preparation. A normal power current connection is sufficient.
