HISTORY
1987 METEKA GmbH, Judenburg/Austria was founded by Dr. Helmut Katschnig.

The problem with disposing of (potentially) infectious waste caused Dr. Helmut Katschnig to look for practicable solutions for his dialysis institute. The infection and injury risks coming from conventional waste bags, and problems with a conventional waste autoclave were the starting point for the development of a practicable and safe method for the collection and disinfection / sterilization of infectious waste.

This personal intention was the basis for founding the company METEKA..
